We just thought we’d give you an update on plans for 6th July.
Iona’s birthday, 6th July, actually falls on parkrunday this year. It’s her 11th birthday means she’s allowed to run parkrun on her own so we’re doing a Little Adventure weekend meetup with camping and a parkrun to celebrate and you’re all invited.
We’re planning to run Pavillion Gardens parkrun in Buxton which is a beautiful town in the Peak District and of course a parkrun Iona hasn’t done yet to continue her tourism streak!
We’re heading to Buxton on Friday to camp at Lime Tree Holiday Park which is just on the outskirts of Buxton and about a mile from the parkrun. There’s also a Premier Inn in Buxton if a night under canvas isn’t your thing! We’ll do pizza takeaway after we’ve pitched camp and then just chill and chat on site, there’s a playground and a games room so even if it rains.
In the morning we’ll walk to the parkrun appreciating the place as we go! Post parkrun (and maybe playground time) we’ll be having breakfast somewhere near the parkrun and then some time exploring Buxton and the surrounding area. We’re camping Saturday night as well with plans for more exploring and adventure on the Sunday
